1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging with Hired Island's Career Accelerator program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Hired Island offers career transformation services including:

  • Career strategy and clarity consulting

  • CV and LinkedIn profile optimization

  • Job application campaign management

  • Interview preparation and coaching

  • Salary negotiation support

Service Duration: 90-day program with continued support until placement.

Our Commitment: We provide dedicated team support and execute minimum 15 applications per week. We work until you secure a suitable offer.

Your Commitment: Participate in scheduled sessions, respond to communications within 48 hours, and attend interviews we arrange.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old

  • Legally authorized to work in your target job market

  • A mid-level professional with 3-7 years of experience (our primary focus)

  • Able to commit to the 90-day program requirements

4. Refund Policy

Within First 7 Days: Full refund if you cancel before any deliverables are created.

Days 8-14: 50% refund if you cancel before campaign launch (Day 10).

After Day 10: No refunds once campaign is active and applications have been sent.

Guarantee: If we don't secure you an offer within 90 days, we continue working at no additional cost until placement. No refund, but unlimited continued service.

5. Cancellation

By You: Email cancellation request to hi@hiredisland.com. Refund eligibility per Section 4.

By Us: We reserve the right to terminate services if you:

  • Provide false information

  • Fail to participate in scheduled activities

  • Behave inappropriately toward team members

  • Violate these terms

In cases of termination by us, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Respond to communications within 48 hours

  • Attend scheduled interviews and preparation sessions

  • Follow application strategies we recommend

  • Give final approval before we submit applications

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary methodologies

  • Not hire our team members directly during and for 12 months after service completion

7. Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of your personal information

  • Apply to minimum 15 roles per week once campaign launches

  • Provide dedicated team support via WhatsApp

  • Prepare you for every scheduled interview

  • Work until you secure a suitable offer

  • Act in your best professional interest

What We Don't Guarantee:

  • Specific job offers or companies

  • Exact salary increases (€15K is our average, not a promise)

  • Timeline shorter than our 52-day average

  • Interviews from every application sent

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of your career information, CV, and personal materials.

Our Materials: Career Accelerator methodology, templates, frameworks, and processes are proprietary to Hired Island. You may use deliverables we create for you personally but may not share our methods commercially.

License to Use: You grant us permission to use your information to provide services and create anonymized case studies (with your approval for specific details).

9. Confidentiality

Our Obligation: We keep all your information confidential except when:

  • You authorize us to share (e.g., submitting applications)

  • Required by law

  • Anonymized for aggregate statistics

Your Obligation: Our methodologies and internal processes are confidential. Please don't share our proprietary frameworks publicly.

10. Limitation of Liability

To Maximum Extent Permitted by Law:

Hired Island is not liable for:

  • Employer hiring decisions beyond our control

  • Job market conditions or economic factors

  • Third-party actions (recruiters, hiring managers)

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Lost wages, opportunities, or career advancement

Maximum Liability: Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for services.

No Employment Guarantees: We provide career services, not employment guarantees. Final hiring decisions rest with employers.

11. Disclaimers

Services Provided "As Is": While we use best efforts, we make no warranties about:

  • Specific outcomes or timelines

  • Job market conditions

  • Employer responses or decisions

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service

Career Advice: Our guidance is professional opinion, not legal or financial advice. Consult appropriate professionals for those needs.

12. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: Contact us first at hi@hiredisland.com to resolve any issues.

Mediation: If informal resolution fails, we agree to attempt mediation before litigation.

Governing Law:

  • EU clients: Governed by laws of the Netherlands

  • US clients: Governed by laws of Delaware, USA

Jurisdiction: Disputes resolved in courts of the governing jurisdiction.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions. Changes take effect when posted on our website. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination Effects

Upon service termination:

  • You receive all completed deliverables

  • We delete application materials per our data retention policy

  • Payment obligations remain for services rendered

  • Confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely

15. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hired Island.
